QISC Qatar International Training Centre- Brochure on Simulator
This represents one of the largest and most advanced training simulators supplied by Pisys and is similar to the system deployed at the Transocean European & African Training Centre in Aberdeen. The moving platform system shown here was installed at the SENAI-RJ training centre in Rio de Janeiro in September 2006. Petrobras have committed to train over 1,000 engineers on the simulator for jackup rigs, semi-submersibles and FPSO’s.
This video shows a fixed replica control room simulator deployed at the QISC training centre in Qatar that was deployed in December 2006. This system is primarily used for Major Emergency Management (MEM) training although the hardware could be used to run any of the 40 models developed to date or any developed in the future. This centre is OPITO certified as are many of the training centres using the Pisys simulator. There are several Pisys simulators of this type deployed in other training companies in Aberdeen used for training North Sea personnel. This training centre also has a number of computer based training classrooms capable of running the Pisys classroom simulator.
